Women In Skilled Trades Scholarship Programme – RSI

The Refrigeration School also known as RSI is one of the top trade schools located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is more than 50-years old with extensive trade courses. It also offers a selected set of programmes to the students who wish to work and practice in specific trade fields. It receives regional accreditation. 

RSI offers the “Women in Skilled Trades Scholarship Programme” which is financial aid to the hardworking, deserving and achieved female students who possess a financial need. Any female that wishes to study in the Refrigeration School, Arizona is eligible for this scholarship programme. The applications are available all year round. 

American Fire Sprinkler Association

The sole purpose of the American Fire Sprinkler Association is to show and inform the general people how an automatic fire sprinkler system works and saves lives. The renowned company helps contractors in practising life-saving techniques and strategies. They conduct different workshops and training programmes that correct misconceptions and educate you about fire safety procedures. A great source of essential data for an academic institution. 

The AFSA has a scholarship programme for high school students who are planning to pursue a vocational degree programme at an accredited technical school, university or college. The $2000 reward directly goes to the academic institution. The student must be enrolled full-time within the fall semester.

ASHRAE Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship

ASHRAE is the Association of Science of HVAC, Refrigeration, and Engineering. It advocates industry ethics and principles in vocational courses. ASHRAE offers engineering students 10 different types of scholarship programmes. The scholarship is granted to only full-time students who are pursuing Bachelor’s of Science or Engineering or studying in provision for the HVAC/R industries. The applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA to qualify for this scholarship opportunity. 

PHCC Educational Foundation

PHCC is the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling field that works towards creating highly skilled professionals. They are on a mission to assist deserving students in specific trade courses and help them achieve their educational goals. Every year the foundation grants forty-one scholarships that include students enrolled in the distance education programme. 

The eligibility criteria go like this; you must be a full-time student in the Plumbing Apprenticeship Programme that is a member of PHCC or a full-timer in HVAC/R. Another requirement includes a letter from the high school principal and LOR from a member of the PHCC National Association.

Merchants Exchange Of Portland Scholarship

The Merchant Maritime Exchange Scholarship is a fund that was established to promote and flourish the fields of maritime education & affairs with global trading. Hence, helping students in related disciplines by assisting them in their academic path. The eligibility criteria say that the candidates must be enrolled in a four or two-year post-secondary degree programme. With high stress on Maritime Affairs or Global trade. Applications are accepted online only. The amount is entirely merit-based and depends on your score level. It can be used for tuition, textbooks and other expenses related to the programme.

Dwyer Group Women In Trades Scholarship

The Dwyer Group Women In Trades Scholarships is a women-based scholarship programme for females who are in trades and wish to be admitted to an accredited trade school of their choice. The scholarship reward is $1,500 and it is given twice a year with a total of six females every year.

Union Plus

Anyone who was a part of the Union, is a current or retired member, or belongs to an immediate family member, is qualified for this programme.
