About
The University of Bridgeport (UB) is a private institution in Bridgeport, Connecticut. At the university, the grand old Victorian homes on campus were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s; some were owned by important local industrialists, while others were by P. T. Barnum's family and friends. Two of the homes have been restored by the university, and a third has undergone extensive renovations for students of the modern world. The New England Commission of Higher Education granted UB a university accreditation.
There are 100 program options for students to choose from, out of which 30 are graduate programs and some doctoral courses. This 4-year institution offers certificates for Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in addition to one-year certificates.
