About

University Canada West - West Pender Campus (UCW West Pender Campus) is a private, for-profit university located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. David F. Strong, a former president of the University of Victoria, launched it in 2005. The Eminata Group bought UCW in 2008, and then in 2014 it was sold to its current owners, Global University Systems (GUS). The institution, which has its headquarters in downtown Vancouver, provides undergraduate and graduate programmes in business and management. In 2014, the institution moved from its previous location on two floors of an office building on Melville Street in downtown Vancouver to five floors of the neighbouring London Building. The 10-story London Building was initially constructed in 1912 for the London and British North American Company and is situated at 626 West Pender Street.
