Overview

About

Arizona State University (ASU), established in 1885, is a diversified, highly regarded public research university in America's southwest. It provides first-rate facilities, individual assistance, and elite athletics to students. It has four campuses in Phoenix and one near the California state line. ASU has 17 academic institutions and colleges that provide a wide range of undergraduate majors and graduate programmes. They also provide overseas students with gateway programmes that are meant to ease freshers into the American university experience while providing additional language and cultural assistance.

With over 80,000 students enrolled, this institution is one of the most preferred for international students, who refer to it as a ‘safe’ university mainly because the entrance is easier here. Despite the fact that ASU provides over 800 programmes ranging from undergraduate to post-doctoral degrees, the Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering courses are well regarded. Another distinguishing aspect of this university is that it offers over 150 degrees online.

ASU has four campuses in the Phoenix area. Students training for careers in health care, journalism, law, media, arts, sciences, and other fields attend classes on the Downtown Phoenix campus. The historic Tempe campus has hundreds of majors that engage graduate and undergraduate students in transdisciplinary study and discovery in world-class labs and facilities. Students studying integrated sciences and arts, engineering, management, and technology may be found on the Arizona Polytechnic campus. In its more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programmes, the West campus combines a liberal arts education with 21st-century leadership preparation.

Having over 10,000 global students and scholars, ASU has a truly international community. The International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC) at ASU is available to aid students with issues such as immigration information, visa assistance, adjusting to ASU, and cultural differences. The university faculty is made up of some bright, inventive, and researchers whose advice and mentorship have a good influence on their students.
