About

Oxford Brookes University (OBU) is an open institution of higher learning located in the beautiful city of Oxford, UK. It provides students with the greatest possible educational experience due to its world-class infrastructure and award-winning professors. The Oxford School of Art was the institution that gave rise to the university in 1865. OBU was given its university status and renamed to its current name in 1992 by the Further and Higher Education Act. It has campuses located in various areas of Harcourt Hill, Headington, Wheatley and Swindon around Oxford

Across disciplines, the university provides foundational, undergraduate, graduate, and professional programmes. The university's faculty pool consists of professionals with extensive academic training. The faculty at the school is honoured to include 11 National Teaching Fellows. OBU has four faculties -

A learning system created by OBU enables students to learn outside of the traditional classroom setting. Students are taken to industrial workshops for hands-on instruction and to familiarise themselves with the realities of the workplace. Additionally, the university runs skill-development programmes to accustom pupils to cutting-edge technologies. The institution keeps a placement aid section to speed up the student hiring procedure. For job placements, it has worked with some of the biggest corporations in the world, including Microsoft, IBM, BMW, KPMG and Virgin Atlantic.

An internationally famous centre for research excellence is OBU. For world-class research, the institution has developed specialised research strengths. It has collaborated on technology transfer and research projects with businesses, government organisations and academic institutions.
