In the 2023 US News & World Report rankings, Oxford Brookes moved up slightly from 1006 in 2021 to 1013. However, its ranking has declined in the QS World University Rankings, dropping from 429 in 2022 to 413 in 2024. This indicates a downward trajectory over the past few years. The Times Higher Education (THE) 2024 rankings placed Oxford Brookes University between 601-800 globally. While the university maintains a position among the top 1000 institutions worldwide, its ranking fluctuations across major indexes reveals inconsistencies in its broader academic reputation.
