Zurich One Young World Scholarships 

Zurich One Young World Scholarship is one among many scholarships available in Switzerland for international students. This training scholarship for international students is offered to those students who are willing to attend the One Young World summit in Germany. The aim of the organisation is to empower vulnerable people within the communities to better protect themselves from risk and to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

The focus of the award is on innovating in 3 areas: 

  • Mitigating the impact of climate change, 
  • Tackling the world’s increasing physical and mental health challenges, 
  • Striving to increase both social and financial inclusion. The aim is to transform the lives of 1 million people by 2024, and positively impact the lives of 10 million more.

Every year the Zurich One Young World scholarship is awarded to 12 students from the world. The award is granted to only those young leaders who are willing to make active contributions to bring in innovation and make improvements in the field of climate change and inclusion. 

The scholarship will cover your travel expenses, accommodation costs, food expenses (lunch, breakfast, dinner) and give you access to an exclusive personal development workshop. 

German Chancellor Fellowship For Tomorrow’s Leaders 2021-2022

The German Chancellor Fellowship grants many awards such as training scholarships for international students, short-term scholarships, summer scholarships and more. This scholarship for Tomorrow’s Leader is provided by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to excellent young leaders in any field of study. The scholarship is granted to university graduates to help them implement a project idea they have worked on. You will be considered for this scholarship based on how well you are able to convince the panel about your project and its potential. 

The scholarship is only available to university graduates from the following countries: 

  • India
  • China
  • Brazil
  • Russia
  • South Africa
  • The USA

Applicants must work in a field such as politics, business, media, administration, society, or culture and have demonstrable initial leadership experience. Recipients of the scholarship are eligible for a number of perks such as a monthly grant of 2,200 EUR, an intensive German language course for free, access to networking activities and alumni committee membership. 

Lithuanian Short Term Study Scholarships  

This scholarship is provided by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania for any degree program offered by the universities. Candidates from all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship for short term studies at any of the Lithuanian higher education institutions. 

The eligibility for this scholarship has the following conditions: 

  • You should be enrolled in an educational institution in the country before applying for this scholarship. When you are submitting the scholarship application, you must also submit your offer letter from the university. 
  • Applicants must be a student, lecturer or researcher. 
  • Applicants must have good knowledge of Lithuanian, English or other languages required to study in the chosen study programme.

This is one of the most accessible training scholarships for international students and the recipients of the award will be eligible for a monthly stipend of 600 euros. 

Governance Training Scholarships For Developing Countries 

Civil servants and law students from developing countries are encouraged to apply for this scholarship offered by The Hague Academy of International Law. The programme generally consists of four components that are connected by an overall theme. A two- week training course at The Hague Academy for Local Governance, a week-long internship at a Dutch municipality, networking activities and the back home action plan. 

The general terms of eligibility are the following: 

  • You should be within 37 years of age while applying for the training scholarships for international students. 
  • Work for an NGO or non-profit organization. 
  • Belong to one of the eligible countries.
  • Have the intention of working in the Netherlands for at least 2 years. 
  • Meet the English language requirements. 

The Talent for Governance programme covers the cost of tuition fee, travel costs, accommodation and most living expenses in The Netherlands. 

Endeavour Executive Scholarships 

The Endeavour Scholarships are granted by the Australian Government as support towards your professional development. The opportunity of this short-term training will last between 1 and 4 months and is open to high achievers in business, education and non-Australian Government. This scholarship is not provided for academic learning, instead, this training scholarship focuses on learning and building skills and knowledge through a host work environment in the applicant’s field or area of expertise. 

The scholarship is only available to students from the following regions: 

  • America
  • The Caribbean 
  • Asia
  • Europe 
  • Pacific 
  • Middle East 

The fellowship value is up to $ 18,500. The fellowship will include a travel allowance of up to $3,000, an establishment allowance of up to $2,000, a monthly stipend of $ 3,000. Moreover, Health and travel insurance will also be provided.
