The first-year students/ applicants will complete high school by the end of the current academic year, enrol in concurrent high school and college courses, or have taken time off between graduating and enrolling in college. The first-year application for early decisions must be submitted by November 1, and for regular admission must be submitted by January 4.  

Students who have completed a high school diploma or maintained at least 12 semester hours of college credit are eligible for transfer. Rice university accepts applications for the fall and spring semesters. The application deadline is November 1 for spring and March 15 for fall intake.
