Yale University has strict deadlines and asks all its applicants to adhere to them. The different deadlines for each application portal are as follows.

ApplicationDeadline

Once you complete your application by the given deadline, you can expect a decision from their Admission Committee around mid-December for Single-Choice Early Action candidates. Applicants have until May 1 to respond to an offer of admission.

Interviews

Interviews are not a mandatory step to apply to Yale. Some students who wish to opt for interviews can do so by registering on a first-come basis. Every year, interviews are scheduled from June to August and September to November. Other Yale students or alumni conducted these interviews online on behalf of the university. Off-campus interviews are taken in public places, like the library or cafes. Once your interview is done, the interviewer writes an evaluative report expressing why you might be a worthy addition to the Yale community.

Since learning how to apply to Yale University is quite a tedious task, it is worth noting again that Yale interviews aren’t essential and can be avoided. There is no scoring system associated with any interviews since they are done to simply enhance your application and increase your odds.
