ToggleBorris Johnson in September of 2020 made it easier for international students to gain access to a UK student visa. This was done by introducing a new point based system. The UK Government has also allowed students to get a two year post study work permit with the new provisions of the student visa. The benefit extends to students who want access to a London student visa. Students who aim to travel to London or other parts of the UK to study in the year of 2020-21 may benefit from this provision.
Students who plan to stay in the UK for 6 months or longer, need to pay for the immigration health surcharge. This will help you gain access to the National Health Services (NHS). Students must gain access to this by themselves or check if their university would make this provision for them. Students must pay £150 per year to gain access to the NHS.
