Expectations From The Candidates
Once you have identified yourself, the second step is to acquaint yourself with the expectations of the scholarship. You are a candidate applying for scholarships in Texas, you may have to provide evidence of your academic records that reflect clearly – your GPA, ranks and individual subject scores. Some universities may also ask you to present the academic transcripts for all years of studies.
The second most important thing that is considered during your selection process is your need for financial aid. The scholarships are not granted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Only those students who have excellent academic potential and will be unable to complete their higher education without financial aid will be considered for this award on a priority basis.
Moreover, the selection committee will also select you based on your leadership skills, community service, academic achievement and other special circumstances.

This is because the requirements and deadlines of scholarships for all categories of candidates are subject to change without notice.
