The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) Scholarship in Germany is the largest funding organisation in the world for international students from developing countries. The main purpose of this Germany fully-funded scholarship is to create future leaders and bridge gaps between countries. A monthly stipend is provided to recipients of this scholarship in order to cover all the expenses. These fully-funded scholarships in Germany are applicable only to those candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Only those students who wish to complete a full-time course of study with mandatory attendance from a German university can apply for this scholarship.
- The applicant should have completed their undergraduate level of study in not more than the last six years.
- At least 2 years of proven work experience is required.
- If you wish to study in Germany for a short period of 6 months, it is mandatory for you to be present in your country of residence at the time of application.
- If you wish to study in Germany for more than 6 months, your previous degree must be obtained from your home degree.
The scholarship award is contributed towards tuition, living expenses, health, and travel. The monthly amount varies between 850 euros to 1200 euros depending upon the type of degree you wish to pursue. Free on-campus accommodations will be provided under this scholarship program.
Erasmus+
The Erasmus+ is one of the fully funded scholarships in Germany that is funded by the European Union in order to support education, training, youth, and sports in Europe. The eligibility of this scholarship varies from country to country depending on whether the applicant is a member of the EU/EEA or not. Students under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree Programme are selected on the basis of high academic excellence. Only students from partner countries or countries can apply for this scholarship. It also provides grants towards living costs when studying in Germany.
