Visegrad Fund scholarships
Under this scheme, Visegrad Funds offers international scholarships to PG and PhD students from a select few countries in East Europe to study in one of the Visegrad i.e V4 Nations which include the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. The scholarship fund is available for up to four academic semesters. The scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and financial need. This is one of the best eastern European scholarships.
National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic
These scholarships are open to international students studying in at least the sixth semester of their master’s degree in their home country to undertake one semester abroad in the country of Slovakia. Slovak Government Scholarships for Selected Developing Countries
The Government of Slovakia offers scholarships to students from developing countries to study in Slovakia at all degree levels be it bachelor’s, masters or PhD. The scholarship is open to international students from selected countries within the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
The South Moravian Centre for International Mobility Scholarships
The South Moravian centre in the Czech Republic offers various international scholarships to students outside the European Union studying for their masters or Ph.D. degrees at a university in partnership with the centre. It is mainly offered for higher study programs in technical and natural science fields to deserving students.
Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships
The foreign ministry of Romania offers various international scholarships for non-EU students at all levels to study abroad in Romania. These scholarships are mainly offered in the Romanian language and subjects like education and politics. The scholarships cover the tuition fees and all other expenses of the selected students.
Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project
Under this scholarship scheme in Russia, various international scholarships are available for students from all countries to pursue a master’s degree in any Russian University in the following subjects- mathematics, physics, computer science, or economics. It covers the full tuition fees of the selected students and is funded by the Russian Association of Global Universities.
Government of Russian Federation Scholarships
The government of Russia offers various state scholarships to international students to study in Russia every year. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition fees, living expenses and also provides a monthly allowance to the selected students.
