What Do You Need While Applying For A Singapore Student Visa?
The first thing you need before applying for a student visa is a letter of acceptance or an unconditional offer letter from your university. This document is your evidence of being an international student who has the intention of studying in the country. Moreover, the university you have been accepted into should be recognised by the State.
Secondly, you will need a valid passport to be able to receive a student visa for Singapore. This means that your passport should be valid till the end of your course as well as during your journey back to your home country.
The third thing you will require is a statement of mental and physical health. This is similar to the requirement for applying for a South Korean student visa and scholarship. To receive a statement for your medical health, you need to undergo a medical examination from an authorised doctor. This needs to be done before you apply for your visa as you will need to attach the evidence of your physical health with the visa application for students with the intentions to study abroad.

Every application submitted to ICA Singapore has an application fee of $30. The payment is accepted in the form of online transactions such as internet banking or through debit or credit cards. Once you complete your application formalities, you will need to collect your student pass. To do this, you will need to pay $60 as the issuance fee and $30 as a multi-entry student visa fees.
Singapore Student Visa Process:
- The first step to applying for a study abroad visa for Singapore is not for it online. Rather, the first step is to apply to a university in Singapore.
- Once you have applied and have been accepted into a Singaporean university, your institution will register you for a student visa application through Student Pass Online Application and Registration (SOLAR) system.
- You will have to provide the following personal information: Name, date of birth, gender and nationality. Information regarding your course: course name & degree, commencement and end date.
- Once you have provided the above-mentioned information, you will receive a SOLAr application reference number that you will need later.
- Once your application is registered through your college, you may start applying for a student visa through the SOLAR page.
- Fill out Form 16 and follow the instructions to apply for the visa.

You must be able to cover your tuition fees, living expenses and more. This includes bank statements, statement of loan, scholarships or grants and other evidence of funding. Lastly, you can apply for this visa 6 months before the start of your course if applying from outside the UK. If you are applying from within the UK, you can apply 3 months before the start of your course.
As a part of your student visa checklist and application, you will need to apply for medical insurance through the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. Most universities do this on behalf of their international students.
UK Student Visa Procedure:
International students must first fill an online application form. This can be done on the official website of the UK Government for Visas and Immigration. Once your application is complete and submitted, you need to book an appointment slot. Here, your details will be cross verified and your biometrics will be accepted. If you choose to skip submitting the documents online, you will be asked to submit your official documents to the personnel. This is required if you have not uploaded your documents online with your online application. The next step is to give your biometric details. This includes your fingerprints and photograph. This is done on the day of your appointment. Lastly, you must receive information about your visa application within 3 weeks.

The cost of the application fee for a Tier 4 student visa is £348
