Entry Requirements

Undergraduate admission can be done via UCAS or directly through the university via the online applicant portal. Postgraduate applications can be submitted only via the university’s online applicant portal. In addition to the completed online application, international applicants are required to submit the following Nottingham Trent University entry requirements -

 

Basic Entry Requirements:

• Higher Secondary Certificate (XII) with a GPA of 65% from four relevant subjects for undergraduate studies
• Three and four-year Bachelor’s degrees with a GPA of 55%  which is a 2.1 score, for postgraduate studies
• Graduates of other recognized universities are required to possess a WPA of 60%, for postgraduate studies

• For applicants from India, Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) with grades ranging from 70% to 80% can be used as an alternative for English tests.

English Language Proficiency Requirements:

• IELTS: An overall score of 6.0 with a minimum band score of 5.5 in each
• TOEFL: Overall score of 74 with 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking and 19 in Writing.
• PTE Academic: An overall score of 59 with a band score no less than 59 in any element.
• CAE: A score of 169 or more with a score of 162 or above in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
