The Charpak Scholarship Programme
Charpak is the name of one of the France scholarship for Indian students, which is administered by the French Embassy in India. It is titled after Georges Charpak (1924 - 2010). In 1992, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work as a French physicist.
The Charpak scholarship programme provides three levels of scholarships for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes.
Raman - Charpak Fellowship
The Raman - Charpak Fellowship is awarded by the French Embassy in India, the Government of India's Department of Science and Technology (DST), and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Its aim is to provide Indian and French students the opportunity to conduct part of their study at a university or research and development institute in France or India, respectively. The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, in collaboration with La Fémis, annually delivers a summer programme aimed at foreign film and television students, as well as young film industry practitioners, who want to improve their realistic and theoretical knowledge of documentary filmmaking in France. The summer university curriculum lasts 9 weeks and consists of rigorous courses 5 days a week. It accepts a maximum of 15 students from various nations, including North Africa, Africa, Chile, Russia, India, Iran, Afghanistan, and Egypt.
The French Embassy in India is offering a two-month scholarship to study in France for Indian students to join this summer residency programme in France. The awardee receives a regular stipend, a return trip to France, medical care compensation, among other benefits.
Eiffel Scholarship Programme of Excellence
The Eiffel Scholarship is provided to the best international students by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and International Development by Campus France Paris. The University/Institution applies for the scholarship on behalf of the recipient. The scholarship to study in France for Indian students is only available for master's and PhD research. The awardees earn 1,181 euros per month (master's degree) and 1,400 euros per month (PhD), including a monthly payment for living expenses.
Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA)
The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) propose the MOPGA scholarship to international students who intend to complete a master's degree programme at a French institution in unique fields of study. Indian students are qualified for a master's degree scholarship.
Co-Financed Scholarships
The French Embassy in India supports co-financed/joint scholarship schemes with private and state, industrial or academic partners at various levels and in various fields of research such as arts, architecture, and management, among others. The chosen students are granted the rank of French government scholarship recipient, as well as privileges such as social welfare, visa fee exemption, and tuition fee waivers from French universities.

The grants are available to all admitted candidates as well as students currently participating in one of the school's programmes.
