Scholarship Overview

Erasmus Scholarship is a prestigious merit-based scholarship that is awarded by the European Commission. This scholarship is awarded to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds. Students pursuing their Master's Degree, Master’s Diploma or Master’s Certificate are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students studying in any of the select 196 countries can apply for free. The eligible fields of study are - Agriculture and Veterinary, Engineering, Manufacture and Construction, Health and Welfare, Humanities and Arts, Science, Mathematics and Computing, and Social Sciences, Business and Law. 

 

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the Erasmus Scholarship involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of merit of all the applicants. The selection process includes:

  • Screening of scholarship applications based on merit.
  • Telephonic interviews for further shortlisting of candidates.

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

Scholarship students must have already obtained a first higher education degree or demonstrate a recognized equivalent level of learning according to national rules and legislation in place by the application deadline.
