Xavier University, also known as XU, is a private Jesuit Catholic university located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The university was founded in 1831 as a men's college, but it became coeducational in 1969. Today, the university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 90 fields of study. The university has a rich history of academic excellence and community service.
