University of Oklahoma Entry Requirements

Admission applications are accepted in three intakes: fall, spring, and summer. Undergraduate applications typically open on August 1. Students who want to study at the institution must apply online and pay an application fee of $40 USD. To be admitted to the university, candidates must complete the University of Oklahoma entry requirements, which vary depending on a variety of factors such as their course, degree level, and so on. Among the standard conditions for admission to the college are -

  • High school academic record with a least GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 US grading system or Grade B 
  • Graduate applicants are required to submit their bachelor’s academic transcripts and certificates
  • College level course work completed by the country's Ministry of Education (Transfer)
  • For transfer purposes, the course should be equivalent to Oklahoma University course material
  • English Proficiency Test Scores -TOEFL iBT: 79 to 100; IELTS: 6.5 to 7.0 
  • Financial Certificate (Scholarship Letters, Bank and Investment Statements or Certificates of Deposit and Fixed Deposits) 
  • ACT/SAT Score for Scholarship
  • One recommendation letter (Additional two LORs are optional)
  • Official copy of any AP or CLEP exam results (if taken)
  • Any other course-specific requirements such as an audition, portfolio, work experience, projects etc.
