Acceptance Rate

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas acceptance rate is 85%, indicating that a significant proportion of applicants gain admission. Among the admitted students who provided standardised test scores, the middle 50% range for the SAT falls between 1000 and 1220, while the ACT scores lie within the range of 18 to 24. 

It's important to note that the top 25% of admitted applicants exceeded these score ranges, demonstrating exceptional academic performance, while the bottom 25% scored below these ranges. 

In recent years, its acceptance rate has increased, reaching 85.31% in 2023. While UNLV has welcomed a larger proportion of applicants, its yield rate (the percentage of accepted students who enroll) has declined slightly. The 2023 yield stood at 38.08%, lower than the average of 47.49% observed over the nine-year period. Interestingly, the university experienced a modest decrease of 1.92% in the number of applicants for 2023, amounting to 250 fewer applications compared to the previous year.

 

Entry Requirements

The University of Nevada Las Vegas has an acceptance rate of 87% and therefore exhibits a competitive admission policy. The university accepts applications during the fall, winter and spring semesters through its website only. For the successful submission of the application form, a fee payment of $95 has to be made. International students need to have a minimum score of 60% in their secondary school and bachelor's degree results.
