University of Iowa achieved a notable position on the global stage, securing #180 position.


QS World University Ranking 2024:

University of Iowa has shown excellence by securing 201–250 spot on the global scale.


According to US News & World Report, the UI tied for 108th place among "Best Value Schools," 77th place among "Most Innovative Schools," and 353rd place among "Top Performers on Social Mobility." The university spent $511 million on research and development in 2018, which placed it 51st in the nation, according to the National Science Foundation.
