Tulane University achieved a notable position on the global stage, securing #450 position.


QS World University Ranking 2024:

Tulane University has shown excellence by securing 401–500 spot on the global scale.


TU was one of the 195 American colleges that were given the "community engagement" designation and it also ranked as a university with "very high research activity" out of more than 4,300 higher educational institutions rated by the foundation by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. In the American Edition 2020, the university was ranked 40th overall among American national institutions by News & World Report. TU provides a range of courses in the fields of business, sciences, engineering, and technology, as well as the arts, humanities, and social sciences. According to US News & World Report's rankings for 2021, the university’s introductory business courses are ranked at the 44th position overall and its Graduate Business School is ranked at the 74th position.


  In 2021, it ranked between positions 401 and 500 for its postgraduate business and economics programmes. Since 2019, the ranking range has expanded from 301 to 400. According to US News & World Report, the many specialisations of Postgraduate Engineering and Technology are among the top 100, with Biomedical Engineering coming in at the 48th position and Chemical Engineering at the 53rd position.
