CSU Entry Requirements

There are a set of criteria that must be met by overseas students in order to enrol at CSU. When submitting their applications, international students must ensure that they fulfil the California State University entry requirements which include meeting the minimum GPA requirements, English proficiency scores, Standardised test scores, and course preparation. While the prerequisites may vary for domestic and international students and are also subject to change as per the course requirements and specifications, there are common admission requirements that are to be considered, and they include -

 

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

• Official Academic Transcripts with a minimum GPA score of 2.67
• SAT & ACT scores
• Academic Portfolio/Resume
• Residency/Address Proof, if required
• Statement of Purpose
• English Language Proficiency Scores: IELTS - 5.5; TOEFL iBT - 61

 

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

• Official Acad4mic Records with a minimum GPA score of 2.75 GPA
• GRE/GMAT scores, if applicable
• Professional CV/Resume along with Work Experience 
• Residency Proof
• Letter (s) of Recommendation
• If invited, admission interview
• English Language Proficiency Scores: IELTS - 6.0; TOEFL iBT - 80

 

CSU Fees

The California State University fees vary depending on the programme. Furthermore, costs vary depending on whether students live on campus, off campus, or type of commute. Tuition and obligatory fees differ depending on whether the student is an undergraduate, a graduate, or a post-baccalaureate student. Additionally, the nationality of the student also has an impact on the tuition and fees that are being paid.
