Binghamton University Entry Requirements

Students may use either the Coalition Application or the Common Application to apply for undergraduate admissions; and graduate admission can be done through the Graduate Admissions Application with an application fee of USD 75. Binghamton University’s entry requirements are as follows -

Basic Admission Requirements For UG & PG Studies:

• Original transcripts of the previous university or high school (check the file format required on the university website)
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• Personal Statement
• A Resume or CV
• Letters of Recommendation (LOR)
• GRE or GMAT scores
• Program-Specific Documents (licenses or certification, test scores, and work samples)
• All the required standardised test scores to study in the USA
• International Student Financial Statement (ISFS)
• Proof of financial support
• Copy of Visa/Passport
• Proof of English Proficiency for International Students
  • TOEFL iBT: A score minimum score of 80
  • TOEFL Essentials: Minimum score of 9
  • IELTS: A minimum score of 6.5 with no band score below 5.0
  • PTE Academic: Minimum score of 53
  • Duolingo: A minimum score of 105
