• For entry to Strathclyde undergraduate programmes we'd look for 70-75% in all subjects taken at level XII and the same at level X. Marks should be particularly strong in the proposed area of study.
• IB: Advanced entry to Year 2 of some programmes may be available.
• A Levels: Advanced entry to Year 2 of some programmes may be available.

The cost of studying at University of Strathclyde largely depending on the type of university and the degree chosen. More often than not, humanities, arts, and education courses are less expensive than degrees in medical, engineering, or management. Furthermore, students who choose to study at the postgraduate level typically pay higher tuition fees, which again vary depending on the programme chosen. 

Most universities provide scholarships or financial aid to students in order to help them offset their tuition costs. Students should be aware that additional course fees and incidental expenses may not be included in tuition. On average, international students can expect to pay £25,250 annually, to study in University of Strathclyde.

There are also major opportunities for chemists in other areas. A study of chemistry develops logical thought and numeric skills, and the ability to write accurate and concise reports. As a result, our chemists are in demand for employment in national and local government services, in hospitals and education at all levels.
