MSc Museums and Heritage Practice

The Museums & Heritage Practice course will equip you with theoretical and practical knowledge to enable work with a variety of museum collections. Applied research is prioritised, with links to the multi-million pound Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, and museum-based visitor attractions throughout Shropshire and the region, providing up-to-date knowledge of the UK sector alongside global trends.

A 2:1 honours degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification is required. Prior experience in the museum and heritage sectors can be taken into account alongside academic qualifications. Consideration will be given to those who hold a lower classification who can demonstrate they are capable of performing at the level required to complete the course successfully.
