Occupational Science is the scientific study of humans as occupational beings, it enables the study of traditional populations, using an occupational approach, such as those with chronic health conditions, disease, and disability, as well as populations which society may deem diverse or those on the fringe of population groups. Such populations often experience occupational injustice because of health/disability, race, gender, age, socio- economic issues, religion/beliefs, or because of occupational choices which include roles and lifestyle choices.
