Aston University Ranking for 2024

The recent university's improvement in league tables and rankings shows that its efforts to create a leading, inclusive institution at the local, national and international levels are solidly taking shape. Since 2017, QS and THE have consistently ranked Aston under the top 500 universities in the world. Both rating providers have decreased the university's ranking over time. In 2017, QS (Top Universities) ranked 358th, however, in 2021 it was listed between 501 and 550. The Times Higher Education's (THE) ranking similarly declined, going from 351-400 in 2017 to 401-500 in 2021. 

 

According to data published by popular book publishers in the UK, Aston University has been ranked within the top 100 universities in the UK since 2017. The Complete University Guide has placed Aston University among the top 50 universities in the UK from 2017 to 2023. In addition, The Guardian (a renowned name in the UK education industry) has placed Aston University among its top 50 universities since 2017. However, it fell beyond 50 education institutes once in 2018 according to US News & World Report's rankings.

Course Ranking

The business programmes provided by Aston University are highly well-liked and have been consistently recognised among the top 200 worldwide programmes by reputable organisations. From 2017 to 2020, QS's Accounting & Finance ranking placed it in the range of 151-200. Additionally, from 2018 to 2021, it ranked Aston below the top 200 programmes in the world for MBA programmes.
