Led by internationally recognised practitioners, the Theatre and Performance Design degree scheme offered by the Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies at Aberystwyth University takes a fresh, radical approach to design in performance.

It looks beyond the established boundaries of set, costume, lighting and sound design to take a total view of performance space as an expressive artistic field in its own right. This is not a degree in ‘how to do it’, but an inquiry into how it might be done.

Entry Requirement
Standard XII Certificate from recognised central or state board:75 % in year XII Std.
A score of 70-80% in English from Indian Standard XII examinations conducted by: CBSE or CISCE (central boards). Other recognized boards, excluding those from Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
The qualification must be obtained within 7.5 years of the proposed course start date.
