NUS High and polytechnic graduates may be granted course exemptions for a relevant accountancy or business core courses based on their qualifications.

Course exemptions include:

• NUS High Graduates
• If you have taken both MA5107 Statistics and MA6207 AP Statistics, and score​d at least B+ for MA6207, you will be    eligible for exemption from the first-year core course,  AB1202 Statistics & Analysis.  
• Polytechnic Graduates
• You may be granted an exemption for a relevant first-year course related to the Diploma you have obtained. Note that only Diplomas listed in Annex A are allowed exemptions. Students who are considering an exemption for AC1103 Accounting I, please see the special instructions here. 

Nanyang Business School students transferring from other programmes can seek exemptions and credit transfers for similar or relevant courses covered in their previous programme of study.  

Students transferring from other universities should submit an  Exemption Request Form together with their degree audit/transcript, and detailed outline of the course(s) taken to the NBS Undergraduate Programmes Office at S3-B3a for review and consideration. Students applying for course exemptions must submit their applications within the first semester for their enrolment.

You should have a relevant diploma from a local polytechnic or a recognised institution in Singapore
(see List of Acceptable Diplomas below).

You are only eligible to apply for admission if you have graduated from the diploma before the
commencement of the new Academic year.

If you have a Diploma with Merit or Diploma with Distinction, you may apply for any programme in
NTU, regardless of your diploma (except for LKCMedicine Programme).

If you are a graduating student at one of the local polytechnics, you may apply with your cumulative
first 5 semester results. If you meet the admissions criteria, you will receive an offer. You are still
required to submit your final semester results as a proof that you have graduated from the diploma
course.

If you are a graduating student with results from 4 semesters only (due to exchange, internship, etc),
you may apply with your cumulative 4 semesters results, first. You are required to submit your final 2
semester results as soon as they are available. 

The cost of studying at Nanyang Technological University varies largely depending on the type of university and the degree chosen. More often than not, humanities, arts, and education courses are less expensive than degrees in medical, engineering, or management. Furthermore, students who choose to study at the postgraduate level typically pay higher tuition fees, which again vary depending on the programme chosen.

Most universities provide scholarships or financial aid to students in order to help them offset their tuition costs. Students should be aware that additional course fees and incidental expenses may not be included in tuition. On average, international students can expect to pay S$20,100 annually, to study in Nanyang Technological University.
