IBAT College Dublin Entry Requirements

The IBAT College Dublin entry requirements vary for their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes while there are none in place to apply for their professional diplomas and other certificate courses. The eligibility criteria take into account a candidate’s previous academic qualifications and records and in certain cases, current test results and scores. The college’s entry requirements for their undergraduate and postgraduate courses are detailed below.

Undergraduate Admissions

  • For their undergraduate programme in Arts, two H5 and four O6/H7 grades are required in the Irish Leaving Certificate. For overseas students, the qualifications are determined by QQI standards. The NARIC Qualifications Recognition system is used to establish equivalency. 
  • A minimum of grade O6/H7 is required for five leaving certificate subjects including English and Mathematics. For overseas equivalent qualifications, the corresponding QQI standards must be met. 
  • For English language qualifications, an overall band score of 6.0 is required in the IELTS exam. 

Postgraduate Admissions

  • A minimum 2.2 honours degree or an appropriate recognised qualification by international metrics is required for admission to their full-time MBA programme. 
  • Even relevant work experience in the field is accepted. 
  • An overall band score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components is required in the IELTS exam. 

 

IBAT College Dublin Fees

The IBAT College Dublin fees vary for their undergraduate, postgraduate, professional diplomas, and financial trading courses. The fees are further determined by whether the student is an Irish (local) student or an international student. The fees for the latter are higher than their home student counterparts. The fee structure for certain courses is also different on the basis of online taught and on-campus taught courses. The fees for some of their courses for international students are detailed below. 

Undergraduate Programmes

  • Bachelor of Arts: €6985
  • Bachelor of Business: €5951
  • Postgraduate MBA Programme: €9000 per annum
  • Professional Diplomas range from €1250; €900 for on-campus taught courses. 
  • Financial Trading courses range from €500 to €1500. 

 

IBAT College Dublin Placements

The IBAT College Dublin Placements have a Career Services department that looks into career planning, job search and career development. There is even an online Career Portal that aids students in CV and cover letter writing and has information on job vacancies, interview preparation tips, after graduation career options, information about internships and work experience, and other study and employment opportunities. Qualified professionals and counsellors help place students in employment roles which meet their goals, and match their qualifications, interests and aptitudes. The college also organises networking evenings where students can engage with employers and even invites guest speakers each month. The networking evenings include career planning seminars, online branding workshops, and special presentations from industry experts.
