Dundalk Institute of Technology Entry Requirements

Dundalk Institute of Technology entry requirements differ from one programme to another. You must submit a standard application through the CAO if you are an EU citizen or a non-EU citizen who resides in the EU and want to enrol in a DkIT course at the first-year level. Please apply online at the official website if you are a non-EU applicant for one of the courses at DkIT. Include the necessary paperwork with your application:

 

  • Academic transcripts 
  • Degree certificate (if applicable) 
  • IELTS (or equivalent) transcripts 
  • Passport copy

 

If your application is accepted, you will either be sent an initial letter of offer directly or via the agency's offices.

 

The first year of the programme's expenses must then be paid in full, and you must show proof of a health insurance policy. Upon full payment of your fees being made to the DKIT account, a definitive letter of offer will be sent. This letter is required in order to submit an application for a student visa. You can apply for a visa at the Department of Justice in Ireland or at the Irish Embassy or Consulate in your area. You can ask the Institute for reimbursement if your visa application is denied.

Dundalk Institute of Technology Fees

When it comes to Dundalk Institute of Technology fees the Department of Education covers all eligible students' tuition costs for undergraduate courses. Students who are nationals of European Union member nations and are enrolled in full-time undergraduate courses at the Certificate, Diploma, and Degree levels for the first time are eligible. Payment In Instalments

Fees may be paid by students in two instalments. If a student chooses to pay in instalments, 50% of the total cost must be paid at registration. The second instalment is due by January 31. A student's access to services will be terminated if unpaid fees are not paid. Students who owe the Institute fees will not be allowed to register until all outstanding costs have been paid.
