Sorbonne University Entry Requirements

Sorbonne University's academic year is split into two semesters and begins in September. Both terms finish in late January or early February, respectively. The Campus France website sets dates for admissions to the university. All overseas applicants should be proficient in French at the B2 or C1 level. Unless they have a French baccalaureate, candidates for the department of medicine must speak French at a level C1. Some of the Sorbonne University entry requirements for admission are as follows:

• Access ticket
• Health insurance
• Certificate of receipt of the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) at 92 Euros. The 'Orientation and Success of Students' established by the French law that founded the CVEC mandates payment at the time of enrollment.
• Registration fee of at least € 100 in three instalments
• B2 or C1 level in French
