New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver Campus Entry Requirements

Whether you're a first-time applicant to NYit in Vancouver, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants. The university has an acceptance rate of 60% which is considered moderate.  Students wishing to study at the university must make an application fee payment of 50 CAD. Each applicant must provide the following: 

  • SAT Subject Tests (if applicable)
  • Official transcripts from each college and high school attended (in English or with translations)
  • 2 teacher recommendations
  • Official test scores from the TOEFL iBT(79), IELTS (6.0), PTE (53)— all tests must be taken within 2 years of your application date
  • A Resume (Reflecting past work experience) 
  • A valid Passport
  • LOR 
  • Statement of Purpose
