New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) is the parent institution for its Canadian campus, also known as NYIT Vancouver. Two campuses serve students in downtown Vancouver and at Broadway Tech Center. Since its establishment, the university has established itself as a leader in Vancouver’s higher education community. In addition to partnering with 50+ local businesses and sectors, it also provides graduate-level courses, unlike NYIT USA's undergraduate curriculum.
NYIT Vancouver is a private, non-profit University in Canada, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees. The university was established in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2002 as the first satellite campus of the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). The parent institution in New York was founded in 1955 and it has campuses all over the world.

NYIT's Vancouver campus is located in the heart of downtown, close to all public amenities and transit. The university also has two other spaces within Broadway Tech Centre in Vancouver. Housing Facilities
NYIT's Vancouver campus does not offer on-campus housing. However, the university encourages students to live at Great Eastern College (GEC), which is known as one of Vancouver's finest off-campus student residences. GEC offers private and shared apartments for both short and long-term stays while studying at NYIT. The residences at the GEC Student Residence are modern and well-maintained. The apartments come fully furnished with a kitchenette, living room, bathroom and bedroom. Students can also take advantage of on-site amenities such as laundry rooms, study lounges, fitness facilities, and swimming pools.

Whether you're a first-time applicant to NYit in Vancouver, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants.
