MacEwan University Entry Requirements

Students can upload all of their academic records and verified translations by logging into the MyMacEwan Portal. For fall admissions, the documents must be submitted by August 1; for winter intakes, they must be submitted by December 1. Let's take a look at some of MacEwan University’s entry requirements -

MacEwan University Fees

Calculate the expenses you can anticipate for one period. You will be charged the foreign tuition rate for nine credits if you enrol in fewer than nine credits during a fall or winter term. In accordance with the number of credits you enrol in, additional fees will be assessed. The majority of programs count fifteen credits as a full course load for one term, and the majority of courses are worth three credits. Students are prepared for on-campus hiring by MacEwan University’s Placement and Experience program. They assist them in connecting with potential companies, interns, and summer interns so they can learn and shine in their interviews. The remaining 20% of MacEwan students leave to pursue higher education, while 92% of them find jobs. There are more than 150 options for employment and student research -

• Every year, MacEwan holds job fairs for both volunteer work and paid employment to aid students in developing relationships with possible employers in the neighborhood.
• A MacEwan student may be housed by nonprofits, government agencies, for-profit companies, or firms with a specific industrial focus. These students assist them in increasing company visibility, creating a pool of prospective employees, and fostering collaborations with MacEwan University service areas.
• The institution offers 30 programs with opportunities for work-integrated learning (WIL). This includes three- to five-week placements or roles that last four to eight months in Cooperative Education streams. Students have held positions as communication assistants, program planners for live theater venues, and supporters of neighborhood start-ups.
• Through McEwanLife, where they receive invitations to campus and career-related activities with the ear of students looking for work or practicum placements, students can learn about recruitment prospects.
• More than 18,000 students are enrolled in "Recruit to suit" at MacEwan, which significantly influences the labor markets in Edmonton and the province. Companies can host virtual speaker events, mentoring, booths & exhibits, on-campus interviews, and networking information sessions.
