College of the Rockies Entry Requirements

To be considered for admission to COTR, applicants must submit an online application and pay the required application cost which is around CA$ 30. Before submitting an application for a Canada Study Permit, you must accept the admissions offer and pay the tuition. Students also need to make sure to check the entrance criteria and/or prerequisites for their specific program or course. College of the Rockies Placements

Students can get help from the college in career planning and job searches. Workshops are set up for students to teach them interview techniques, how to write a resume and cover letter, and how to create a portfolio that will help them find a better job. The COTR offers students a range of possibilities, including online job postings, on-campus jobs, internships, summer employment, and summer jobs. The college provides a dedicated career portal that can assist students in finding employment.

Canadian postsecondary graduates have the chance to get professional experience through employment in foreign development to prepare them for College of the Rockies placements with the International Youth Internship Program. 29 young Canadians will get the chance to support sustainable international development efforts with partners in Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean in 2022 thanks to College of the Rockies, Bow Valley College, and Selkirk College. In particular, the college usually gives 10 young Canadians the chance to assist youth development and promote gender equality alongside the college partners in Kenya and Dominica. The initiative is a component of the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy and is financed by Global Affairs Canada.
