Cegep Vanier College Entry Requirements
International applicants are advised to finish the application procedure by March 31st. Accepted students will need to apply for a Canada Study Permit and a Québec Certificat d'acceptation, both of which could take up to 6 months to process. International applicants are only eligible for the Winter semester if they already have certain legal status documents. For applicants who received their education outside of Canada, SRAM evaluates their educational background. Foreign applicants must pay a CAD$116 nonrefundable fee (payable to SRAM). The assessment provided by the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles, however, is taken into account to be official. Candidates educated outside of Canada can get an official assessment of equivalent education by contacting the Québec Government Office: Division of Equivalences, Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities. Basic Admission Requirements:
- For applicants from the USA, grade 12
- For science programs, grades 11 and 12 must be used for math and science courses.
- To determine if the course content is equivalent to that taught in Quebec high schools or not, provide thorough course descriptions for evaluation.

English Language Requirements:
Foreign applicants who do not speak English as their native tongue or the language of instruction must submit their most recent English Language Proficiency Test scores -
- The lowest allowed score is 80 on an online test, 213 on a computer, and 550 on paper.
- The Test of Written English (T.W.E.), which is administered on paper, is also advised. One should aim for a minimum score of 4.5.
- Results from the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a band score of 6.5 or higher are also acceptable.
