The University Of New England Entry Requirements

 

The university offers rolling admissions, primarily for the Fall and Spring semesters. A non-refundable application fee of 40 AUD must be paid by interested candidates in order to apply directly to the university for any courses. Candidates may submit applications for UNE through October 26, 2023. Candidates with respectable grades from their last degree, a high GPA, and an SAT or ACT score have a high chance of getting admitted. • Passport
• Letters of recommendation
• CAS statement
• Medical certificates
• A degree that is equivalent to the Australian Year 12 is required for undergraduate courses
• For Indian students, admission requirements call for a Higher Secondary School Certificate with an average of 65% in the best 4 subjects (ideally English as well)
• Any educational credential equating to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) bachelor's degree is required for postgraduate coursework
• English proficiency test scores

 

The University Of New England English Proficiency Requirements

 

English language proficiency is required for admission to the University of New England's undergraduate and graduate programmes as it serves as the institution's primary means of communication. IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE are among the English proficiency exams that the university accepts. The minimum scores needed for admission are listed below.

 

• IELTS - 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5
• TOEFL (Computer-based) - 213
• TOEFL (Internet-based) - 79
• PTE - 57 with no skill less than 50
• SAT - 1127 (Average Math Score- 560 Average Reading+Writing score- 567)
• ACT - 24

 

The validity of the results from any of the aforementioned exams lasts for a maximum of five years from the exam date. After that, any submissions would not be considered.
