Webster University, a non-profit private institution that was founded in 1915, provides students from all over the world with a safe learning environment. It is located in Webster Groves, Missouri. The university was originally founded as a women's college by Sisters of Loretto and was among the first Catholic institutions for women west of the Mississippi River. The college started taking on male students in 1962. The Higher Learning Commission has given the university its official seal of approval.
