Entry Requirements

There may be a non-refundable application fee of $45. The University of Nebraska expects students to meet the minimum requirements to be eligible for admission. • Official transcripts have to be sent by the institution in which the student earned credit to the University of Nebraska Omaha. 
• SAT/ACT scores
• English proficiency test scores like TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent. 

 

Minimum scores required for the English proficiency test are as follows:

• TOEFL - 70 for internet based; 523 for paper-based
• IELTS - 6.0 composite score (5.5 writing score)
• University of Nebraska English Language Test - 74
• Duolingo English Test - 100
