University of Cincinnati Entry Requirements

The University of Cincinnati (UC) has made certain changes to the eligibility/admissions criteria as well as the candidate evaluation process in response to the recent announcement regarding updated recommendations for CCP (College Credit Plus) eligibility. Please be aware that the state's regulations specify the minimum requirements for admission to the UC CCP programme. The student's high school transcript is also thoroughly examined for specific grades in important courses like math and English. 

For consideration to enrol in courses with a UC faculty member on campus or online, students must fulfil one of the University of Cincinnati entry requirements listed below.

  • 3.0 unweighted high school GPA 
  • 2.75-2.99 unweighted high school GPA and 
  • "B" grade or better in the least one high school English course and 
  • "B" grade or better in the least one high school math course 
  • ACT (18 ENGL/22 MATH) or SAT (480 EBRW/530 MATH)

University of Cincinnati Fees

Please be aware that depending on their programme, county of residency, and application approval, some non-Ohio citizens may qualify for reciprocal or metropolitan tuition rates. There will be non-resident surcharges applied to non-Ohio residents who are ineligible for these rates. Additionally, some universities and programmes charge unique fees that are only applied to their students.

The International Student Fee is assessed for foreign students throughout the autumn and spring semesters. Any registered student who does not have U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, asylee status, or refugee status must pay this charge of $125.
