University at Buffalo Entry Requirements

Program-specific admission criteria is provided below, although there are some general guidelines for graduate admission as well. To be qualified for graduate study; here are the University at Buffalo entry requirements:

• a bachelor's degree, or the equivalent, from a college or university that has received official recognition and accreditation. Most of these degrees will take four years or longer to complete; some three-year degrees are recognised by UB, but not all
• a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B) in your bachelor's degree-related coursework. The Office of International Admissions at UB will assess grade point averages from institutions outside the United States
• adequate results on standardised tests (GRE, GMAT, LSAT, etc.). Not all courses demand test results. For more details, refer to the section below on the official test results for academics
• referral letters

English Requirements

International applicants are required to demonstrate English fluency in addition to passing the program's minimum academic requirements. All international students are required to take one of the exams listed below and obtain the minimum score required by the university.
