About

SUNY Oswego is a public college in Oswego which was founded in 1861. Committed to providing a transformative experience, the university empowers students to live ethical and meaningful lives and build a better world. They house a total of 60 majors, over 70 minors and more than 40 postgraduate programmes.

In addition to its academic programmes, SUNY Oswego offers special orientation seminars to help students succeed in their studies. These programmes are organised through four schools at the university:

1. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is home to 18 departments, offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics.

2. The School of Business offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in accounting, business administration, finance, human resource management, marketing, operations management and information systems and risk management and insurance. 

3. The School of Communication, Media and the Arts at SUNY Oswego offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in art, communication studies, film studies, music and theatre.

4. The School of Education has undergraduate and graduate programmes in counselling and psychological services, curriculum and instruction, education administration, health promotion and wellness, technology and vocational teacher preparation.
