PPE is an interdisciplinary major with concentrations in the areas of philosophy, political science, and economics. This major is patterned after a very successful program at the University of Oxford, which has produced many international leaders (such as Justice Stephen Breyer, and many others). Recently it has been described as “the degree that runs Britain” In following this Oxford model, students will learn about the functions of government, the nature of justice, and the foundations of economic policy. These are essential knowledge areas for anyone who is interested in a career in servant leadership, whether it involves working with public policy, the legal system, or private corporations.
