Associate in Arts in Human Development Studies

at Ohlone College

The associate degree in Human Development Studies offered by Ohlone College is designed to prepare students for studying anthropology, environmental studies, ethnic studies, psychology, sociology, and other related subjects at most colleges and universities. While the core courses required in the associate degree in Human Development Studies will fulfill the lower division major requirements at most universities, students are advised to meet with academic counselors to assess the course requirements for specific universities. This program will enable students to develop a strong foundation in the social sciences by engaging them in topics on the complexities and inequities in the human condition.
