• High school secondary school academic record. Original copies of all diplomas, certificates, grade reports and test results received upon completion of high school.
• A transcript demonstrating successful completion of 1 year of college-level work in English (ESL courses not applicable.)
• Letter of recommendation from an approved ESL instructor from the Wisconsin English Language Institute

Education is one of the largest programs at Edgewood College, and our many graduates have found homes teaching in local schools as well as schools across the nation and even the world! Most of our students who major in Elementary Education become certified to teach grades 1-8, although a degree in Elementary Education also allows you to work in after-school programs, tutoring programs, and in other educational settings. You may also choose to go on to graduate school, pursuing degrees such as the Library Media Specialist License, educational administration, counseling, ESL/bilingual licensure, and many other school-based career opportunities.
