Our licensure program will prepare you to teach diverse elementary and middle school learners through a range of courses and field experiences guided by our core values and dedicated faculty. Anchored in teacher education standards, we developed the program in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the Association for Childhood Education International, and the Edgewood College Division of Education. Our core values of truth, justice, compassion, community, and partnership are infused throughout coursework, projects, and field experiences.

Entry Requirement
- Documents must be official; documents submitted will be carefully reviewed and further verification may be required if deemed necessary. Photocopies or scanned documents will NOT be reviewed or accepted.
- High school secondary school academic record. Original copies of all diplomas, certificates, grade reports and test results received upon completion of high school.
- A transcript demonstrating successful completion of 1 year of college-level work in English (ESL courses not applicable.)
- Letter of recommendation from an approved ESL instructor from the Wisconsin English Language Institute
