• Documents must be official; documents submitted will be carefully reviewed and further verification may be required if deemed necessary. Photocopies or scanned documents will NOT be reviewed or accepted.
• High school secondary school academic record. Original copies of all diplomas, certificates, grade reports and test results received upon completion of high school.
• A transcript demonstrating successful completion of 1 year of college-level work in English (ESL courses not applicable.)
• Letter of recommendation from an approved ESL instructor from the Wisconsin English Language Institute

Most of our students who major in Elementary Education become certified to teach grades 1-8, although a degree in Elementary Education also allows you to work in after-school programs, tutoring programs, and in other educational settings. The Early Childhood Education major prepares you for work in a variety of public and private day care, preschool, and early elementary school programs.
