California State University, Northridge (also known as Cal State Northridge) is a public institution in the Northridge section of Los Angeles, California. California State University, Northridge’s acceptance rate is 73% with around 40,108 students at the university out of which 34,496 are undergraduate students and 5,612 are graduate students.

It is one of the largest comprehensive institutions in the United States and has the second-largest undergraduate population and third-largest overall student body in the California State University system. California State University, Northridge was initially established as a satellite campus for Cal State LA. After extensive site master planning and construction, it later became San Fernando Valley State College, an independent college. In 1972, Cal State Northridge became the institution's official name.

Cal State Northridge is ranked 15th among top performers in social mobility in the US News’ Best Regional Colleges West Rankings for 2023. Sierra Magazine placed the university 5th on Sustainable "Cool Schools," whereas The Wall Street Journal ranked the university 2nd on Most Diverse Learning Environment in the Country. Cal State Northridge spans a considerable area, and it contains a student recreation centre that encourages fitness and good health through a variety of California State University, Northridge facilities and recreational activities. California State University, Northridge Entry Requirements

Students can apply through the Online Application Posrtal with an application fee of $70. International applicants are welcome to submit applications to California State University – Northridge for the fall and spring semesters. One may need to meet additional requirements as an international student, such as English language proficiency and the visa application process. The applications are available from the 1st of August for students who are enrolling during the spring intake and the 1st of October for students applying during the fall intake.
