California State University, Northridge (also known as Cal State Northridge) is a public institution in the Northridge section of Los Angeles, California. California State University, Northridge was initially established as a satellite campus for Cal State LA. After extensive site master planning and construction, it later became San Fernando Valley State College, an independent college. In 1972, Cal State Northridge became the institution's official name.

Students can apply through the Online Application Posrtal with an application fee of $70. International applicants are welcome to submit applications to California State University – Northridge for the fall and spring semesters. One may need to meet additional requirements as an international student, such as English language proficiency and the visa application process. The applications are available from the 1st of August for students who are enrolling during the spring intake and the 1st of October for students applying during the fall intake.
